The ultimate poetry collection that should be part of any classroom or library. From classic favourites such as Aliens Stole My Underpants by Brian Moses to John Agard’s cry for a history curriculum that moves beyond the colonial view. The book includes 52 poets and a very wide range of poetry styles and subjects, thoughtfully chosen to make the reader laugh out loud or stop and think. There really is something for everyone. Chris Riddell’s illustrations beautifully complements the writing. Suitable for all ages 4-11, to be read aloud by an adult or for more independent readers to delve into on their own or shared with others.
