Collaborating and empowering post-16 teachers to lead the discussion on the GCSE resit curriculum, in Further Education settings
Gathering Voices #FE aims to put teachers’ voices and expertise at the heart of the conversation to lead the discussion on the discipline of English. This teach meet series will allow for both voices from those delivering to GCSE English Language resit students and sharing their practice and thinking space for all.
This teach meet is aimed at teachers who work in a post-16 setting delivering the resit curriculum of GCSE English Language across provisions; 16-19 and adult settings (including, in the community).
The session aims to:
- Provide supportive and succinct strategies and/or resources to use in the resit classroom
- Encourage and empower fresh thinking for delivery
- Build communities of English teachers delivering across FE settings
