This is a really useful read for anyone who is interested or involved in environmental education in a primary school setting. The book gives loads of suggested activities for children and adults to take part in which are all age appropriate whilst allowing for a degree of extension and challenge. The activities themselves are set out clearly and the book also gives ideas of where to look for further information or ideas. The book would work really well for teachers looking to expand their work on the environment, to get ideas for an Eco Team or similar, or for parents at home looking to enthuse their children about the environment. It is a beautifully illustrated book which helps make it very child friendly and enticing for children to pick up on their own.
