This tale really will be captivating to young readers in a world that is at the same time familiar to them whilst holding the element of fantasy. The plot centres on a performance gala where schools will be dazzling the audience with their acting skills. Things are not all that they seem to be and not all goes to plan for the girls. The biggest success of this story is how it manages to be packed with real hilarity and carry a good plot line at the same time. A real gem for upper junior children.
